Let the elegance and robustness of our silk scarves charm you.
The exceptional quality silk twill we have chosen comes from a French company with a proven track record since 1929.
The twill is a meticulous weave that is easily recognised by its iconic oblique stripes.
This fabric work guarantees a soft and majestic silk while highlighting the colours and patterns of our designs. Our silk scarves are entirely printed in France on a 67 grams per square meter twill.
How to present our silk scarves without mentioning their exceptional finishing. The rolled hems of the silk are entirely handmade, respecting the traditions of craftsmanship and luxury. We have chosen the "French style" roulotté which consists in making it on the top of the scarf, as opposed to the "Italian style" which is made on the back.
Everyone knows the toile de Jouy even sometimes without knowing it, its motifs or imitations have been with us since Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf founded the Manufacture de Jouy-en-Josas in 1760. It has never left decoration and we continue to interpret and print these beautiful Indians from Asia or these bucolic-romantic saynets from past centuries. <Yet the Jouy museum is not at all dusty and the sources of inspiration are inexhaustible, like these palmettes, which have been interpreted a thousand times and to which I have become attached.
In 2017 I painted the model of this scarf at the Salon des Métiers d'Art in Lens as a demonstration, and the enthusiastic reaction of the public to it and to the other models of scarves exhibited was not for nothing in the creation of this brand.
